I'm still here!

I made it to Albertsons last night to stock up on some honey bunches of oats.

I got 12 boxes of honey bunches of oats, 2 boxes of cocoa pebbles and one box of rainsin bran, 2 gallons milk and 4 bananas.

Total spent: $6.93 (I got back $8.00 in catalinas after that I can still use next time. AND one of my reciepts had a deal where if I take their survey I get $2 off my next order)

Total Saved: $67.50

Where have I been?

Hi. Just in case someone is reading this and wondering where the heck I have been, I'll let you know.

I have been having a temporary aversion to couponing and grocery shopping in general. It started when we went out of town for a couple of days and then continued on as I had a terrible headache for a couple of days. We mostly just ate what we had in the house, however last week we did take one trip to the WinCo to pick up a few items. I spent $54.15 there and that was the only grocery shopping we did last week.

This week my husband picked up a few things from walmart on his way home from work and spent a total of 15.48. Unfortunately in december I lost my camera charger and as of late it has completely lost it's charge. I will be ordering a new one soon, but in the mean time that means no pics of the groceries.

I am finding it kind of hard for some reason to get back into the swing of the coupon thing. I know I will eventually. I think It will take a really good sale to pull me back into it. In the mean time I am going to try at least to keep within my $50 a week. I will make it a goal to try to hit at least one sale in the next week and see if that helps.

* I realize that percentage is down from my average, but I haven't been feeling the greatest so it is hard to do as much bargain grocering. I also went a little over 50. Last week, however I was under by 17.38 cents so I actually have $13.20 still rolling to next week. I start out each month at 0 but during the month if I have quite a bit over or under I roll it into the next week.

I was hanging out with my brother last night and after we bought the rootbeer we needed some icecream to go with it so we stopped off and got some. Total spent:$5.25

I got (3) bags of kettle chips and a 12 pack of rootbeer.

Albertsons Friday

I went to albertsons on friday and purchased (2) 12 pack of double rolls of toiletpaper, (4) boxes of ronzoni pasta, (10) cans of bumble bee tuna and (1) payday candy bar

I Spent: $6.17. I saved $39.75
