WinCo 1/26
We were in the mood for tacos tonight and I didn't have any great deals on tortillas and tomatoes so we ended up at winco for old time sake. I also ran into a few other things ;) letsee...
- (12) 15 oz cans of tomato sauce... .48 cents each
- (6) Cans of rosarita refried beans .82 cents each (I used two .50 off of 3 coupons)
- (1) 8 ct. bag of mission burrito tortillas 2.64 ( I used a $1 off 1 to make it 1.64)
- (1) 16 ct. Bar-s corn dogs 2.98
- (1) Bar-s bacon 1.78 (used a 1$ off of 2 bar-s products coupon)
- 1.05 lb tomatos (1.03)
- (4) mccormick taco seasonings .38 cents each (used two 25 cents off 2 coupons)
- (2) guacamole seasonings .38 cents each (used a 25 cents off 2 coupon)
It's a little difficult to know exactly what you saved at winco because they don't calculate in the regular price of anything even though it is on sale, so I can only calculate my savings from the coupons I used.

Save-a-Lot's 1/23/10
I went to Save-A-Lot's for the first time today. I had been there before when it was something else back in the day. I probably would have price matched, so I wouldn't have to travel all the way to Pasco, but I don't get their ad for some reason. I also had some time today while my husband was at the CBC gym. Here is my grocery list:
- (4) gallons of milk $1.79 each
- (2) 1/2 gallons chocolate milk (used a coupon for a free one wyb 2 gal. white milk.
- ~8.5 lb.s of bananas .33/lb (there is actually a limit of 6lb.s and I thought i was getting less than 6 when I weighed it, but when I looked at my reciept it said more so I guess maybe their scales are different? Oh well, they didn't charge me a bigger price or anything)
- (8) 8oz cans of tomato sauce 4/$1
Total paid: $11.96
Total saved: $4.38

Safeway 1/21
I coupon shopped at safeway for my first time today. I got some pretty decent deals, however it wasn't real easy. First, my printer's ink just started running low and so my coupon was just a little faded and I guess if the black ink isn't dark enough it means that you photocopied it. I would never do something like that, but i just ended up not using it anyway. Also I wanted to buy some toothpaste that was on sale for 89 cents, and I had a coupon for 1.00 off of one. I couldn't use it though because it was more than the price and she wouldn't adjust it or anything. On the bright side I did get a load of fruit snacks and wipes.
Shopping list:
- (12) boxes of various fruit rollups and fruit by the foot
- (2) bags of pampers wipes, 385 ct.
- (1) bottle of soft soap
Total Spent: $12.41
Total Saved: $31.10 ( The wipes were on clearance for 4.99 before I used the .50 off coupon and I don't know what they originally were so I can't calculate that in)
